An Afternoon at Givenchy

Paris Fashion Week always moves at an exhilarating pace—shows, dinners, fittings, and the constant rhythm of the city in between. But every once in a while there’s a moment that makes you pause and remember why you love fashion in the first place. Attending the Givenchy Ready-to-Wear 2026 show was one of those moments for me.

Arriving at the show in the late afternoon, the room buzzed with the familiar energy of Paris Fashion Week, friends greeting each other, photographers capturing arrivals, and that quiet anticipation that builds just before the lights dim. I always love this moment. It’s like the collective inhale before creativity takes the stage.

The collection itself felt powerful and refined. Beautiful tailoring and sculptural silhouettes moved down the runway alongside pieces that were both dramatic and incredibly wearable. A buttery yellow leather dress immediately caught my eye, as did a rich purple velvet look with subtle blue tones that shifted beautifully under the lights. The accessories were fabulous—bold statement pieces and almost hip-high floral print boots that felt playful, daring.

Walking out afterward as dusk settled over Paris, I felt that familiar Fashion Week mix of inspiration and gratitude. Being able to witness these moments of creativity up close is always special.

And somehow, in Paris, it always feels magical.
